The Salty Dogs Bring Fun!

Salty Dog Band Members stand in front of a red pickup truck

Evansville Art Center, Friday, July 7th

Yes, The Salty Dogs are coming our way! They will be here to perform their high energy, fun, toe-tappin’, hand clappin’ style of music for EAC’s July First Friday Concert.

They perform a variety of Lite Rock, Blues, Bluegrass, Cajun and a little Jazz in each show for everyone’s enjoyment.

The group is comprised of Eric Shultz on guitar.  He has been playing guitar since the Beatles became big.  His favorite music to play is Blues, Bluegrass and music from the South.

Annie O’Flynn has been playing piano since she was 8 years old.  She took up accordion in 2008 to make the Irish band “Skilly & Duff” sound more authentic and… it was a lot easier to carry around than the piano! Annie is from Elbow Lake, Minnesota.

Greg Donahue is an attorney and classically trained violinist in west central Minnesota.  He has performed as a classical violinist and a Jazz, Blues, Rock and Folk fiddle player.  He performs with the Central Lakes Symphony Orchestra and freelances with various music groups.

Tom Mulder is a popular soloist for public and private events and has performed in barbershop quartets.  As a member of The Salty Dogs, he performs vocals and adds percussion.

Please come on down to 111 Main Street, Evansville, Minnesota on July 7th.  Doors open at 6:30 p.m.  There is no charge for this event.  Donations are gratefully accepted.  If you wish, you may bring a treat to share at intermission.  Beverages will be provided. Evansville Art Center is handicapped accessible.

This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through grants from the Lake Region Arts Council thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage fund and in part through a Minnesota State Legislative general fund appropriation.
