Donna Dean Exhibit

Graphic Art to Fine Art

Visual artist Donna Dean left her mid-western roots to live in California for many years, where she developed a Graphic Art career before returning to Minnesota. At mid-life she challenged fine art, using watercolors, and recently exploring acrylic, alcohol ink, multi-media and collage.

Imaginative and Soul Healing Art

Donna describes her process as randomly splashing color, and letting her imagination lead to a whimsical subject. Her intent is to stir a curiosity of the “how and why,”.  Her goal is to entice the viewer to participate in the interpretation. “This process excites my imagination, but, most importantly, it has nurtured and healed my soul for a large part of my life,” Donna muses.
