Ralph is Coming!

A Good Time is Coming with Him!

Ralph Covert returns to Evansville Art Center on Friday, July 28 to present A Night of Story and Song. It’s pretty much a guarantee that a good time will be had by all in attendance!

So Much Music, So Little Time

Ralph Covert and his band The Bad Examples have been a staple of the Chicago scene since their heyday in the early '90's, when their song Not Dead Yet was burning up the airwaves on Chicago's WXRT and on radio stations from coast to coast in America and as well as in Holland.

Ralph's World is the family friendly rock and roll experience that parents and kids both love! After 10 critically acclaimed albums and countless shows from coast to coast, Ralph is now working to bring the fun and energy of Ralph's World to TV with a new show, Ralph's World: Time Machine Guitar.

Ralph Covert Trio is Ralph's newest project, with Steve Gerlach on guitar and Mike Hartigan on keys exploring new songs and reinventing older ones.

The Acoustic Army is an opportunity where Ralph provides words and music to his songs for fans to download, and once a month they gather to accompany him and sing along.

Ralph has toured from LA to New York to Amsterdam, and played shows with bands including Los Lobos, Squeeze, Del Amitri, Steppenwolf, Wilco, The Lemonheads, Golden Earring, and BB King. With his family music project Ralph’s World, he has received a GRAMMY nomination, been on the front page of the New York Times Arts Section, and tours nationally, bringing his music to a new generation.

Busy, Busy, Busy!

He also performs and records solo, writes plays and books, teaches songwriting, and cooks for his wife and kids. His music has been used in many film and TV projects. Ralph has been on the front page of the New York Times Arts Section and he tours nationally. Think of him as a Renaissance rock n roll dad... or just enjoy the music!
