Where Words Come Alive

Join us April 30, 2026 for the 31st Annual Poetry Night at the Evansville Art Center

April is National Poetry Month. In celebration, all are invited to attend Poetry Night - an evening where people of all ages, from all walks of life, are invited to gather to share a few of their favorite poems with a respectful, receptive, and appreciative audience.

If you are a poet, if you love poetry, or if you just like to listen to poetry, come and join us for this event.  Present your original poems, poems that move you, or just come to enjoy. Poets of all ages and stages are welcome.

There is no charge to attend.  Donations to support Evansville Art Center will be gratefully accepted. Doors open at 6:00, the fun starts at 7:00 and ends at 9:00.
