We all have eyes to see—but what do we truly notice? Some are drawn to buildings, shapes, and abstract patterns. Others notice wild creatures in the woods or sky, the changing seasons of nature, or the friends and family around them.

It's almost been a year of serving as President of the Evansville Arts Coalition Art Center. I’ve learned that leadership in a volunteer role is a different kind of work, especially when it’s something that aligns with my career passions, yet asks for a totally different mindset.

With a grand provided by LRAC, Evansville Arts Coalition has provided a grant for stop motion artist, Deacon Warner, to be artist-in-residence at B-E Elementary

Al Stelton lights up the EAC Gallery with his “American Light” Exhibit which runs through September 27. There will be an Artist Talk and Reception on September 23 from 5:00-7:00 p.m.

Evansville Art Center hosts :Picture This” a photo shoot fundraiser on Sunday, August 10 from Noon to 6:00 p.m.

Daddy Squeeze will dazzle on the Evansville Art Center stage on Saturday, June 28 at 3:00 p.m.

Points of View: Work by Kathleen Richert and Stuart Klipper runs through Saturday, June 28 at Evansville Art Center

Derek Post takes the EAC stage on Friday, May 2 at 7:00 p.m.

The Photo Club Exhibit runs through April 26 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays at Evansville Art Center.

In celebration, Evansville Arts Coalition (EAC) is hosting our Annual Poetry Night on Thursday, April 24 from 7-9 p.m.  The public is invited to attend this family-friendly event held at Evansville Art Center.
