EAC Performances and Open Mic Policy

At the Evansville Arts Coalition (EAC), we cherish the courage and creativity of every artist who steps onto our stage. Our performances and open mic events are designed to foster community, celebration, family friendly atmosphere and mutual respect. To create a supportive environment for all, we kindly ask that all attendees honor the following guidelines:

1. Respect the Performer

• Give your full attention to those performing. Please avoid side conversations, excessive movement, or any behavior that might distract from their moment.

• Show your support through applause, encouragement, and active listening.

2. Turn Off Cell Phones

• Please silence or turn off all mobile devices before the performances begin. This helps maintain a focused and respectful atmosphere for both artists and audience members.

3. Supervision of Children

• We are a family-friendly space and welcome children of all ages. However, children must remain under the supervision of a responsible adult at all times.

• To minimize distractions, children should remain with their guardian unless performing or engaged in designated activities.

4. Intermission Snack Etiquette

• Snacks are provided during intermission only. We ask that adults assist children in getting their refreshments during this time to reduce disruptions during performances.

5. Photography & Social Media

• Photos and videos may be taken during EAC events and may be shared on our social media platforms to celebrate and promote our vibrant community.

• By attending, you consent to the possibility of your image being captured and used for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform an EAC team member at the start of the event.

6. Community Courtesy

• All participants and audience members are expected to treat each other with kindness, encouragement, and respect.
