Community Movie Night

Join us for our first Community Movie Night on Friday, August 21 at EAC.

Emma, our summer staffer, is putting together our first community movie night. The movie My Man Godfrey will be shown. It’s a great movie!

According to Wikipedia: “My Man Godfrey is a 1936 American screwball comedy film directed by Gregory La Cava and starring William Powell and Carole Lombard, who had been briefly married years before appearing together in the film. The screenplay for My Man Godfrey was written by Morrie Rysking and Eric S. Hatch, with uncredited contributions by La Cava, based on Hatch's 1935 novel, 1101 Park Avenue. The story concerns a socialite who hires a derelict to be her family's butler, and then falls in love with him.”

This is open to members and non-members alike! There is no charge for this event. Donations are always gratefully accepted.

Doors open at 8:15 p.m. and the movie will begin at 8:30 p.m. Come, join the fun of watching a great film together!
